(C, D) Longitudinal sections of zebrafish skeletal muscle at 5 dpf were stained with hematoxylin. (C) Wild-type muscle shows myofiber alignment between myosepta and peripherally localized nuclei. (D) ruz muscle myofibers appear unaligned with abnormally shaped nuclei. Arrows indicate myosepta.
