This construct is designed to express destabilized Venus protein in regions of strong Notch activity. (Ninov et al. 2012, PMID: 22492351). The PEST region of mouse ornithine decarboxylase (422-461) was fused to Venus. PEST regions appear to be correlated with protein degradation (Li et al. 1998 PMID: 9857028)
