A Hh-pathway sensitive reporter construct, comprised of a Gli-d promoter element containing eight repeating Gli-CBS from the mouse FoxA2 floor plate enhancer and a minimal lens crystallin promoter. Gli transcription factors transduce the Hh-signal by binding to DNA in a sequence-specific manner through the recognition of the DNA motif GACCACCCA, known as the Gli-consensus binding sequence (Gli-CBS)
