Statement of Research Interest
Our lab uses zebrafish to understand cardiac development, specifically how the simple heart tube undergoes the asymmetric morphogenetic changes necessary to give rise to the complex form of the heart and support cardiac function. We have particular interests in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, live imaging, and morphometric analyses.
