Phenotype: intersegmental vein blood circulation process efficacy, exacerbated
Note: This statement combines anatomy and/or ontology terms with phenotype quality terms to create a complete phenotype (EQ) statement. For detailed information on individual terms, click the hyperlinked term name.
Name: intersegmental vein
Synonyms: ISV
Definition: Veins that connect the posterior cardinal vein and the dorsal longitudinal anastomotic vessel. They run along the vertical myotomal boundaries. They form from primary intersegmental vessels that are contacted by secondary angiogenic sprouts from the posterior cardinal vein and take on the characteristics of veins. These eventually link with other secondary sprouts from the posterior cardinal vein to form the parachordal vessel.
Ontology: Anatomy Ontology [ZFA:0001057]
Name: blood circulation
Synonyms: hemolymph circulation
Definition: The flow of blood through the body of an animal, enabling the transport of nutrients to the tissues and the removal of waste products.
Ontology: GO: Biological Process [GO:0008015]    QuickGO    AmiGO
Name: process efficacy
Synonyms:
Definition: The ability of a process to produce its output.
Ontology: Phenotypic Quality Ontology [PATO:0015002]
Tag: exacerbated
Definition: This annotation denotes a significantly exaggerated phenotype resulting from an additional reagent or mutation.
