A sequence element characteristic of some RNA polymerase II promoters, usually located between +20 and +30 relative to the TSS. Consensus sequence is CSARCSSAACGS. Tends to co-occur with INR motif (SO:0000014). Tends to not occur with DPE motif (SO:0000015) or DMv5 (SO:0001159). (2)
