anti-Mullerian hormone receptor signaling pathway
- Term ID
- GO:1990262
- Synonyms
-
- anti-Mullerian hormone signaling pathway
- Definition
- The series of molecular signals initiated by the binding of anti-Mullerian hormone to its receptor on the surface of a target cell, and ending with the regulation of a downstream cellular process, e.g. transcription. Upon ligand binding, the receptor forms a complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. 23624077
