Definition

A racemate comprising equimolar amounts of (R)- and (S)-piperalin. A fungicide introduced in the 1960s for the control of powdery mildew on ornamental plants, shrubs, vines and trees grown in commercial greenhouses, it is no longer approved for use within the European Union.
