Members of a class of potent antitumour enediyne antibiotics produced by cultures of Actinomadura verrucosospora and Micromonospora echinospora. They contain a bicyclo[7.3.1]tridecane system which combines a methyl trisulfide and double and triple bonds in a 3-ene-1,5-diyne relationship.
