A racemate comprising equimolar amounts of (R)- and (S)-flumipropynflumipropyn. A protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor introduced by the Sumitomo Chemical Co., it was formerly used for the control of grasses and broad-leaved weeds in various crops.
