Abstract
CRISPRs were used to generate a mutant for both the genes itih3a and itih3b (see attached image of alignment of with CRISPRs (teal) and genotyping primers (pink)). The itih3a mutant had no phenotype, but the itih3b homozygous mutant eggs cannot be fertilized. All experiments were performed blind and surviving siblings were genotyped. This experiment was repeated three times with different sets of parents.
