Biography and Research Interest
We are using genetics and live cell imaging to study ocular development and disease. In particular, we are interested in retinal neurogenesis and how cell type diversity and laminar position is established. For disease studies we are focused on the complex gene interactions and cell biological basis of glaucoma-associated phenotypes. These include regulation of intraocular pressure and ganglion cell degeneration.
