Biography and Research Interest
I am interested in the developmental genetic basis of morphological evolution and am using the vertebrate dentition as a model system for investigating this. Specifically I am interested in evolutionary changes in tooth location, number, and shape. I am investigating the genetic control of tooth development in the zebrafish and several other species of teleost fishes.
