Biography and Research Interest

Prof. Chen received his BS and MS degrees, both in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1997 and 2000. In 2005, he earned his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University. After that, Dr. Chen was trained as a postdoc and then worked as a research engineer in Oregon Hearing Research Center from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, Dr. Chen was selected into the Talent Youth 1000 program and joined South University of Science & Technology of China as an associate professor in the department of biology.
