Biography and Research Interest
-Ph.D. in Immunology, Mayo Clinic. Conducted breast cancer research in Dr. Keith Knutson's laboratory.
-Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Dr. Jacqueline Lees' lab at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, MIT. Developed a zebrafish model for uveal melanoma.

Dr. Henle's research focuses on the intersection of cell biology, cancer, and immunology. She uses both the zebrafish model organism and cancer cell lines to model uveal melanoma and understand the cellular events that lead to cancer initiation and progression. She is particularly interested in discovering ways to get the immune system to recognize and fight tumors. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Biology at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
