Biography and Research Interest
Our research interests mainly focus on studying toxicological effects, mechanisms and ecological risk assessment of classic environmental pollutants by using zebrafish model. We are endeavoring to develop the aquatic real-time biological monitoring technologies, and explore the pathogenic mechanisms or carcinogenesis. Our final goal is to provide the theoretical bases and technical support for environmental protection and the potential therapies of the related human diseases.
Research directions:
1.Developing the real-time biological monitoring of environmental pollutants.
2.Evaluating the toxicity and hazard of environmental pollutants.
3.Optimizing biological engineering species to sensitize environmental pollutants.
4.Elucidating DNA damage mechanisms of potentially carcinogenic pollutants.
