STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS
The Philipp lab investigates the molecular causes of congenital malformations such as heart defects, heterotaxy and microcephaly. We are interested in how the cellular signaling changes depending on certain gene variants and how the resulting clinical manifestations could be ameliorated. Particular interest lies on GPCR kinases, replication proteins and cilia-related alterations.
