Silencing Sox2 inhibits metastasis of TRCs.Sox2 shRNA (a) and scrambled shRNA (b) treated TRCs were injected into the yolk of 2 dpf Tg(kdrl:mCherry) embryos respectively; cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis were quantified every 24 hr from 0 dpi to 6 dpi respectively. Representative images show metastatic tumor foci at 6 dpi zebrafish by comparing the scrambled shRNA group with the Sox2 shRNA group.
