Definition:	Endochondral bone that separates the olfactory region from the orbit, extends medially to meet its fellow medially below the frontal bones and is bordered by the mesethmoid anteriorly. It may articulate with the autopalatine and infraorbital 1 laterally. The lateral ethmoid is paired.
