Definition: A racemate comprising equal amounts of (R)- and (S)-furalaxyl. A systemic fungicide with protective and curative properties. It is effective against damping-off and root rot diseases caused by Pythium and Phytophthora fungi which inhabit the soil and infect many ornamental flowers, shrubs and trees.
